Topic & Speaker: Al-Anon Family Groups:

Strength and Hope for Friends and Families

Coping with the effects of a loved one’s addiction can prove to be a difficult challenge. Often times, family and friends of people struggling with addiction become so deeply engaged in trying to handle a stressful situation that it’s hard to break away from ingrained patterns of behavior. It’s often easier to envision continued difficulties than a positive solution. Al-Anon is a mutual support group of peers who share their experiences in applying the Al-Anon principles to problems related to a loved one’s addiction.

Join us as we learn more about Al-Anon: what it is, what it isn’t, and how it can help provide strength and hope.

Speaker: Robert Altabet
