Pharmacies and police stations throughout New York will be participating in the 15th National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day this Saturday, April 28th from 10am to 2pm.

You can help to reduce drug abuse by disposing of unwanted medication.

Did you know that drug overdose is the leading cause of accidental death in the United States? The National Center for Health Statistics estimates that over 65,000 people died from lethal drug overdoses in 2016. You can help to keep drugs out of the wrong hands by properly disposing them at this annual event.

Getting Started
with a Clinical Assessment

The Counseling Center at Yorktown Heights is an outpatient addiction treatment center for adults and adolescents seeking treatment for addiction, alcoholism, and co-occurring disorders associated with addiction and substance use. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) combines evidence-based, state of the art treatment with 12 Step principles. The IOP is an intense, focused experience designed to enable sober and productive living.

Eligibility for the IOP is based on a clinical assessment. The first step is to call us, and schedule an appointment, or use this convenient and confidential form. Now offering Saturday assessments!
